If your team is travelling outside of Western Valley Jurisdiction, you need to fill out a Travel Permit.

Safety Towards Other Players (STOP)

In 1996, Kevin Stubbington of Windsor Minor Hockey developed the Safety Towards Other Players (STOP) program in hopes of raising awareness of the dangers of checking from behind in the game of hockey. Hockey is one of the leading team sports when it comes to spinal injury, primarily in teenagers. The major cause of these injuries is a check from behind that propels a player into the boards. Often, these checks are not meant to injure, it's simply that the player delivering the blow does not understand the potential consequences of their actions.
